Police in Fife have made two arrests following an incident in Inverkeithing on Friday afternoon (April 19).
It follows reports of a disturbance involving three men with weapons at Echobank in the town.
Two men, aged 46 and 25, have been arrested. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Chief Inspector Kirk Donnelly said: “I would like to reassure the public that this was an isolated incident and there was no wider threat to the local community.
"I want to thank the public for their assistance during our investigation.”
