THIS Royal 'family' were more than happy to get together as preparations get underway for this summer's Aberdour Festival.
This year’s queen is Alex Dalgliesh with Dougal Jones as the king. Lila Contreras-Romero has been chosen as the queen’s attendant and Ruben Craik is also an attendant.
To be selected for one of these roles the children had to be a primary seven pupil in Aberdour Primary School, or live in the village and be in primary seven at another school.

The selection took place last month at a special assembly at the school.
As previously reported in the Press, the dates for this year’s festival have also been confirmed as Friday, July 26 until Sunday, August 4.
Beach Day will be held on July 27 and there will be a range of other activities taking place for everyone to get stuck into.
This year’s event will be the festival’s 40th.
