NHS Fife have revealed their maternity statistics for babies born in Fife in April 2024.
The top names for infants arriving in the Kingdom in the last month were Zara and Harris. A total of 227 babies were born, with 119 boys and 108 girls.

There were five sets of twins, six water births and five home births. Breastfeeding rates are at 82 per cent and skin on skin at birth is sitting at 87 per cent.
The busiest days for births were the 2nd, 13th, and 25th with 12 babies being born on those days.
