A stone pillar on a listed building in Dunfermline was damaged but 16 months on it has yet to be repaired.
Linda Martin runs Martin Property Ltd from Lodge House on Priory Lane, next to the apartments at Skibo Court.
While making deliveries, her works van hit one of the pillars at the driveway entrance to the residences.
“It was actually me who reversed into the pillar and caused the damage. As soon as I did that, I contacted the factors and my insurance. That was November 2022.” Linda said.
She said she has had very little contact from the factors - Ross and Liddell - and added: "Apart from ‘Yes, we are dealing with it’, then about three or four times, ‘we have left it with our contractors to provide us with a quote’.”
Nobody has been to repair the damage to the pillar, which belongs to a listed building, and she added it's "even worse because it’s all deteriorated”.
The factor is paid by all the residents who own a flat at Skibo Court, and is responsible for maintaining the building.
“I think it’s appalling the fact that we have a listed building and they have got complete disregard for the upkeep of it.
“I even offered for my own builders to come and do this, and anything we can to help. They say it’s subject to an insurance claim.
“It simply doesn’t take 16 months to fix this.” Linda commented.
Ross and Liddell did not respond.
