A MAN has been arrested following a disturbance at Dunfermline Sheriff Court this afternoon (Tuesday).
As a result of the incident, which occurred inside the court on Carnegie Drive, one Police officer sustained minor injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 12.05pm on Tuesday, May 7, a disturbance occurred within Dunfermline Sheriff Court, Carnegie Drive, Dunfermline.
“A male police officer sustained minor injuries as a result of the disturbance but did not require any medical treatment.
“A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
