The Met Office stated: “Friday will be dry, bright and warm. The weekend by be largely dry with some very warm sunshine, chance of a shower in the west Sunday.”
However, the warm weather is not to last for long, as it will be back to 16C on Monday, May 13. This is due to the high pressure covering the country moving on, and being replaced by low pressure.
