THE BIG wheel is making a comeback at the Cairneyhill Gala next month.
A number of activities, inflatables, stalls and food as well as the big wheel will return for the Gala on Saturday, June 8.
Preparations for the day are in full swing as the whole committee get ready to put on the 'Night at the Museum' themed event.
Chair of the committee, April Walker, said: "Preparations are going really well. The theme this year is Night at the Museum which has been really popular.
"We’ve got loads of different inflatables, lots of fun games that are going to be in the gala field and loads of different stalls and food as well. It’s going to be good. And we’ve got the bottle stall as well which is always popular"
The day will start off with the Gala parade at 12pm, leaving from Glen Moriston Drive.
April continued: "For the parade, we have the Comrie Pipe Band and then we’ve got all the local groups in Cairneyhill who are going to be walking in the parade as well.
"We've got support from Ogilvie Homes and they’re actually going to be helping us with our traffic management."
Wristbands for the gala, which will give kids free unlimited rides on the day, are on sale now and can be purchased here.
Individual wristbands can also be purchased for the big wheel here.
Anyone looking to volunteer on the day, or join the gala committee, should reach out to members through the Cairneyhill Gala Facebook page.
