KATHRYN Joseph will headline this year's Outwith Festival in Dunfermline with early bird tickets on sale from Friday for the music and arts extravaganza.
A former winner of the Scottish Album of the Year, the critically acclaimed singer leads a strong female line-up with Rianne Downey, Nati, The Keys and Manchester’s Deep Blue also on the bill, while Welsh headliner Das Koolies features four members of Super Furry Animals.
Famed for its music, the five day festival will have everything from indie-rock and folk to electronica, rap and melodic pop, as well as visual art, film, theatre and comedy from Wednesday 4 to Sunday September 8.
Kathryn Joseph took the Scottish Album of the Year title in 2015, beating Paulo Nutini and Young Fathers to the top prize with 'Bones You Have Thrown Me And Blood I’ve Spilled'.
In 2022 her newest album, 'For You Who Are The Wronged' was shortlisted for that year’s SAY Award and in January of this year she released a five-track EP featuring reworkings of songs from the album by producer and collaborator Lomond Campbell.

Lomond, who will be performing with Kathryn, is a BAFTA winning songwriter and was shortlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year.
Rianne Downey joined Paul Heaton of the Beautiful South and Housemartins on stage at last year’s TRNSMT in Glasgow - he famously bought drinks for the crowd - and the Bellshill star is now singing with the Beautiful South.
The all day music event is on Saturday September 7 with more than 35 acts performing across seven venues for one ticket.
It's always a huge draw and this year sees the long-awaited return of Dunfermline indie legends Beatnic Prestige alongside other local acts and talented newbies, The New Shade.
Also on the Outwith line-up is Nati (Dreddd), whose social media hit nearly two million followers after supporting Tidelines, Newton Faulkner and Simply Red.
She is joining When Rivers Meet on tour in the UK in October and her forthcoming shows at King Tut’s in Glasgow have already sold out.
Radio 6 favourites, Indie folk girl band The Deep Blue, are playing Glastonbury this year before heading to Outwith.

Bemz, aka Jubemi Iyiku, is proving that rap’s cultural reach stretches way beyond London.
Based in Glasgow, he dabbles with different styles from old school hip hop to drill to grime.
After previously scoring support slots with The Snuts and being nominated for Scottish Album of the Year, he was selected to perform at the BBC Introducing Scottish Artist of the Year.
The Eves and their melodic pop have enjoyed airtime on Radio Scotland, BBC Introducing and Radio 2.
The Scottish pop duo, Marissa Keltie and Caroline Gilmour, have toured extensively with Skerryvore and supported Belinda Carlisle and Sister Sledge.
One of their hit songs, Brand New Day even made it on to an episode of the Kardashians.
This week's line-up announcement also includes Foreignfox, Sunstinger, The Castros, Daysleeper, Jetski, Grayling, Rosie H Sullivan, Dovv, Culann, Kohla, Sex on TV, T-A, Grace Hannah, Stephen Thomas, We Are Delta, The Long Road, Too Red and Low Tide.
Early Bird Tickets, priced at £25, go on sale on Friday May 17 on Eventbrite.
After this time limited offer they'll cost £30 plus booking fee.
