FIREFIGHTERS had to be called after a young boy got stuck in the lift of a West Fife leisure centre.
The incident took place last week when, it is believed, the six-year-old was trapped for more than an hour at Dalgety Bay Sports Centre.
His mum said he was "so brave" while the firefighters worked to get him out.
She added: "He then got a shot in the fire engine after he got out and was so pleased with himself!"
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 6.53pm on Tuesday, May 7, to reports of a person stuck in a lift at leisure facilities on Harbour Road, Dalgety Bay, Fife.
"Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the scene, where firefighters released the person, who was unhurt.
"Firefighters left the scene after ensuring it was made safe."
