AFTER just six months of pulling pints in Dunfermline's city centre, The Dugg House was recognised at a national level.
Despite being a fairly new venue, the Guildhall Street bar was previously called Monty's, it was shortlisted in the Best Sports Bar category at the Molson Coors Scottish Entertainment & Hospitality Awards 2024.
The team attended the awards ceremony at Glasgow's Hilton on Thursday, May 16 and while they didn't take home the top prize, they were thankful to have had the opportunity.
The management team at the Dugg House said: "We were honoured to have attended the Scottish Entertainment Awards in Glasgow, and while we didn't win, we had a great time celebrating a successful six months of being open.
"Thank you to our wonderful customers, we couldn't have done it without you."
Joining them at the awards was The Ballroom in Dunfermline, who were nominated in the same category, Dhoom on New Row - which was up for the Best Family Restaurant Category and Christie’s Scottish Tapas (who have a venue in Dunfermline's Leisure Park) - who was nominated for the Best Casual Dining Venue.
