The Peacocks in Pittencrieff Park are currently celebrating the arrival of four new peachicks!
As previously reported in the Press, the volunteers with the birds were celebrating the birth of the first peachick of the breeding season last week from peahen Zoe.
Sadly, Zoe's second peachick passed away shortly after being born.

The volunteers announced yesterday on their Facebook page (Thursday, May 23) that three eggs from peahen Angel and peacock Louis have hatched.
They posted: "Well, our first time mummy, Angel has excelled!!!! So far this morning we have had three babies born! And all with different patterns!!! Baby four has pipped and hopefully won’t be long!!!
"Will update soon."
Carlyn Cane, a volunteer with the peacocks, has since told the Press that baby number four has arrived!
