A 42-year-old Dunfermline woman assaulted two police officers during a drunken disturbance.
Michelle Ness, of Broomhead Drive, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on 28th October at Bank Street, Lochgelly, she acted in an aggressive manner and made offensive remarks.
She then assaulted a police constable by pushing him.
She also assaulted a second officer by kicking him.
Defence solicitor Elaine Buist: “She says when alcohol is involved she becomes a mess.
"She has also been suffering mental health problems for the past year or two.”
Sheriff Wylie Robertson imposed a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work.
