This medieval character will talk you through the different scripts that were used as writing evolved and changed.

Her interactive sessions with children will involve preparing a quill for writing and learning how to make ink and paper.
Kids at the Bruce Festival who go along to Lady Dawn’s event will get their own name in calligraphy and a souvenir bookmark to take home.
Hear Dawn’s story, and many others, at the Bruce 750 Festival taking place in Pittencrieff Park Dunfermline on June 1 and 2 from 10am to 5pm.
