A COMIC book that details the history of the city has been released by author Colin Maxwell.
The Dunfermline Story covers many aspects of our past and heritage, including King Malcolm and Queen Margaret, the Patons of Wooers Alley, as well as some less well-known heroes and ordinary people who shaped the city.

The book is entirely written in Scots and features work from around 40 artists in total.
Colin received a Scots language publication grant from the Scottish Book Trust after successfully pitching The Dunfermline Story.
Readers were able to get their hands on a copy on Saturday at the Little Shop of Heroes.
