PATIENTS and families at Queen Margaret Hospital will be able to wind down and watch their favourite shows on the box after a recent donation of six new screens.
Volunteer Peter O'Sullivan spotted that no side rooms had televisions on ward six and contacted Furniture Plus with the plan that he would buy them for the ward.
After enquiring about a discount because of where they were going, the organisation said it would donate the sets to the Dunfermline hospital and even arranged to deliver them.

"This was really good of Furniture Plus doing this during these hard times that everyone is going through at the moment," he said.
"The televisions bring some kind of comfort for the patients in these rooms and also it helps as it gives them someone or something to listen to if and when their family cannot get in to visit."
