THE sun shone on the historic West Fife Show as crowds turned out for a day packed with fun and activities for all the family.
The event, which dates aback 250 years and is one of Scotland's oldest agricultural shows, included the traditional cattle, sheep, goats, Clydesdales and Light Horse competitions.
There was a pet show which visitors were able to enter their dogs into while younger ones had the chance to get up close and personal with smaller species at the petting zoo.
A range of tractors and farming equipment was on display while a craft marquee offered products from local vendors and businesses.

Committee member Laura Inglis said: "We had a great day. It was a really busy show and the sun was shining. It all came good.
"On Wednesday and Thursday, it was definitely a bit touch and go if we could have a show and a lot of extra things had to be put in place but then the weather definitely played its part.
"We don't know exact numbers but I would say there were probably three or four thousand who came along. It was really busy and the vintage tractor football in the main ring certainly seemed to be a hit!"
