PROPOSALS have been put forward to transform an old mobile phone shop in Inverkeithing.

Ms Mary Farrell, from Struan Place, has submitted an application to Fife Council to change the premises at 93 High Street that are in a "state of disrepair and unheated".

If approved the plans are for the shop to be used by an "independent jewellery designer".

A statement on Ms Farrell's behalf explained: "The proposals are to upgrade the external shop front to double glazed windows and door within a new insulated external timber wall frame.
