The body of a 21-year-old woman was recovered from the River Forth last night (Monday).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30pm on Monday, we received a report of a person in the water at South Queensferry.
“Officers attended and the body of a 21-year-old woman was recovered from the River Forth with the assistance of partner agencies.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service and RNLI confirmed that they were called to the incident.
