Students at Dunfermline High School took part in their Youth & Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) final last week.
It was held last Thursday and represented the culmination of work the pupils have been doing in classes from February to June.
YPI is a way for youngsters to support charities close to home while gaining hands on experience of volunteering, fundraising and awareness raising for their charities.
The good causes included: Fife Women’s Aid, Walking on Air, Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters Club, Children’s Clothing Bank Dunfermline, and the Nicola Murray Foundation.
This year’s winners are Louise McKay, Noor Sakander and Alcott Ganyani, who are all 15, with their chosen charity, Dunfermline Athletic Disabled Supporters Club.
It will now receive a grant of £3,000 from The Wood Foundation towards their aim of installing a lift at East End Park.

Teacher Kirsty McLean said: “The girls have worked tirelessly over the last few months to engage with their charity, volunteering their time and really getting to know the charity and many of the people they support through their valuable work.
“Their fundraising efforts have been amazing and the girls have shown a real passion for supporting this cause.”
Each of the runner-up charities will receive a donation of £300 from the Rotary Club of Dunfermline.
Kirsty added: “We are hugely proud of the effort and commitment that pupils have shown throughout the YPI programme again this year.
“It has been amazing to see our pupils empowered to make a real difference in their local community.”
