Concerns over recent issues were raised at a meeting of Fife Council's South and West Fife area committee today (Wednesday) with councillor Graeme Downie commenting on the issue.
"We have had a spate of anti-social behaviour in Oakley recently which have involved dirt bikes going through but also people involved in other anti-social behaviour around the shops," he told councillors.
"I am keen to know what we can do, particularly coming into the summer, to try and reduce that and increase safety."

Inspector Cheryl Young said: “We are aware of concerns regarding anti-social behaviour in the Oakley area and are actively working with our partners to address the issue.
“Support from the local community is vital to our efforts and we would urge members of the public who witness any incidents of this nature to please get in touch with us by calling 101.”
Cllr Downie added: "There is no excuse for this kind of behaviour by a tiny minority of people and I am sure local people will help the police with their enquiries.
"I have also been working with Police Scotland and Fife Council Safer Communities team to make sure there is a co-ordinated response to the wider issue of anti-social behaviour to make sure people in Oakley feel safe and I am confident those actions will cut down on this totally unacceptable behaviour.”
