POLICE have issued an update after an attempted robbery in Dunfermline yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
A 36-year-old man was arrested after the incident at the Nisa store and post office, on Abbey View, around 2.15pm.
In their updated statement this morning Police Scotland say a BB gun was recovered during this incident.
They added that "no-one required medical treatment".
The man is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today and a report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
The Nisa store posted on Facebook this morning: "Post Office open as usual.
"We appreciate all the comments. No serious injuries.
"Big thank you to Police Scotland Fife."
