TWO properties were broken into and two cars were stolen in the Duloch area of Dunfermline.
Police Scotland are appealing for information following a "number of reported break-ins and vehicle thefts" in this part of the city.
A house was broken into sometime between yesterday (Thursday) evening and this morning, with a black Audi RS3 and a grey BMW M135 stolen.
Another property was broken into overnight, however it does not appear anything was taken.
And there was an attempted break-in around 4.40am yesterday at a further property.

Detective Inspector Lara Loudon said: “We are treating these incidents as linked and believe those responsible may have earlier been seen driving around the area.
"I’d urge locals to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.
“Anyone with information or who thinks they may have seen the stolen vehicles is asked to get in touch with us.
"If you have dashcam, private CCTV or doorbell cameras, please review your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
