A MAN has been arrested after a robbery at a Co-op store in Dunfermline. 

The incident happened late morning at the shop at the corner of Townhill Road and Shamrock Street. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.40am we were called to a report of a robbery at a premises on Shamrock Street, Dunfermline.

​ “Officers attended. There were no reports of injuries.

​ “A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."

It follows an attempted robbery on Thursday at the Nisa store and post office in Abbeyview.
