A Rosyth man caused a disturbance in the early hours of the morning by smashing windows with a pole.

Paul Fraser was looking to confront someone he knew but was in the wrong street, Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard.

Fraser, 38, of Charles Logan Place, admitted that on 19th December at Elder Place, Rosyth, he smashed windows by striking them with a wooden pole, struck a satellite dish with a wooden pole and struck cars.

He shouted, swore, acted aggressively, made threats of violence, made threats to damage property and made offensive remarks and brandished a wooden pole.

He also breached bail conditions, by not complying with a home curfew.

Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat said at 2.20am Fraser started banging on a window with a wooden pole and ended up breaking it.

He then struck a Sky disk with the pole and shouted: “Show yourself big man. You think you’re hard.”

The court was told Fraser was so intoxicated that he had gone to the wrong street.

Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed an 18-month drug treatment and testing order.
