A Dunfermline woman woke up her dad and caused damage after returning home drunk.

Shelbie Dinnie, 22, of Almond Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

She admitted that on 29th February, at Almond Road, she shouted, swore and repeatedly kicked fixtures and fittings, damaging them.

Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat said Dinnie returned home at 2.15am and woke up her dad by shouting and screaming.

She refused to calm down and kicked at a door, causing it to come off its hinges. She then kicked a hole in a wall and the police were contacted.

Defence solicitor Alan Davie said his client was a first-time offender.

Sheriff Garry Sutherland deferred sentencing until 11th December for good behaviour.
