Depute fiscal Lauren Pennycook said the incident occurred at 2.30pm.

Douglas opened the vehicle and was challenged by the female who had just parked it outside the shop.

A woman working in the shop came outside to see what was happening and Douglas threw a brick which hit the wall next to her.

Douglas, who was representing himself, said he could not remember anything about the incident.

Sheriff Allan Findlay imposed a community payback order with 50 hours of unpaid work.
