An Edinburgh-based ready meal delivery company and its customers have donated over 2,000 meals to support the Dunfermline Foodbank.

Parsley Box and its customers have come together in aid of the Dunfermline Foodbank and its various operations, including those in Rosyth, Inverkeithing, Cowdenbeath, and Benarty.

Parsley Box CEO, Kevin Dorren, said: "We would like to say a huge thank you to our valued customers for their kind support to the Dunfermline Foodbank, where we recently delivered over 2,000 meals.

"We introduced an ongoing charity campaign where our customers can purchase a meal as part of their order and we have been left overwhelmed by the positive response.

"Our customers' generosity and kindness to support is both heartwarming and truly inspiring.

"We as a business have also made a large donation of our long-life meals to support the foodbank, and I would like to say thank you to Sandra and all the team for the amazing work they do for the local community."

Project manager of Dunfermline Foodbank, Sandra Beveridge, said: "We are delighted to have received these donations through Parsley Box.

"This is something very different for our clients - a meal in a box with a long shelf life!

"We can't thank Parsley Box enough for organising this for us and we hope to keep working with them in the future."
