A DUNFERMLINE business is reminding its customers that they're still open amid the Bothwell Gardens works.
MKM on Elgin Street are keeping the public up to date on the construction work that is taking place in the area to make it easier for their customers to visit their store.
Blair, the internal sales employee for the company, told the Press: "The whole of Dunfermline, essentially, is roadworks.
"Us and other local businesses are starting to take a wee hit from the roadworks so we were basically just wanting to get it out there.
"Some people have been saying that the road was closed and there’s diversions so folk were panicking thinking that there was no access from the Rosyth end and down the way, not from the viaduct at all. I think it was just a bit of scaremongering to start with but it is causing major effects to be honest."
They have reassured their customers that they are still able to access the store, but if they can't wait in the delays, delivery is an option.
He added: "We’re just going to see how it goes, it was initially just to make sure that everyone knew we are trading as normal. We have a multi-fleet delivery service still in place so we’re just asking folks to have as much patience as possible and give as much notice as possible.
"It may take five to ten minutes longer to get here but just keep us at the forefront of your mind as opposed to taking the easy option."
