A DUNFERMLINE restaurant that was previously under threat of closure will instead be undergoing changes.
The Crooked Glen, a Brewers Fayre outlet at Fife Leisure Park, was one of more than 200 restaurants at risk after Whitbread, Premier Inn’s parent company, planned to build more hotel rooms in their place.
The company also announced plans to sell 126 branded restaurants across the UK.

However, it has been announced that the Dunfermline venue will instead be changing to a Premier Inn restaurant, from Friday, July 5.
It will only serve those staying in the hotel.
The nearest Brewers Fayre branches now are Queens Crossing, Brewers Fayre in South Queensferry and Bankhead Gate, Brewers Fayre, in Glenrothes.
A spokesperson for Whitbread commented: "After many years serving the community we can confirm the Crooked Glen is closing its doors.
"We'd like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for their support over the years and our amazing team members. The nearest Brewers Fayre is now Queens Crossing."
