CHILDREN and their families are invited to explore the many different ways people have travelled over the years with free activities in Dunfermline’s Heritage Quarter.
Young visitors can take part in a variety of creative and interactive activities.
These include building railway tracks, cracking codes to make the trains run, making origami boats, and designing their own vehicles.
By completing the activities and collecting all four stamps in their PAST-PORT, children will earn a certificate.
They can take part over one day, several, or the entire summer holidays.
Parents and carers have left feedback saying that “it’s a brilliant way to get kids engaged with history”, “encourages us to explore locally”, and “provides a memorable experience”!

The scheme launched just a few years ago and has become increasingly popular. PASS-PORTS are free and can be picked up from any of the venues.
The activities are available from now up to Tuesday, August 20.
