'The oldest continuous tournament in the world' is coming to Dunfermline next week.
Chess Scotland are hosting the Scottish International Open and it will take place in the Carnegie Conference Centre.
The tournament will take place over seven days from Monday, July 8 to Sunday, July 14.

Events running over nine rounds will involve two double-round days.
Both Chess Scotland members and non-members are welcome to participate, but titles will only be awarded to eligible players.
If the event is won by a non-SCO player they will be presented with the Open Trophy.
