A MASKED Dunfermline teenager threatened people with an imitation gun.

In other incidents, he pointed an imitation firearm at a man’s head and had a machete in a Dunfermline street.

The 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted the offences when he appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

On May 25 last year, at Inchkeith Drive, he assaulted two people. With his face masked, he pointed an imitation firearm or similar object and repeatedly pulled the trigger.

On May 31, at Bittern Court, he told a woman to stay where she was and he would not shoot her.

On the same day at Linburn Road, he assaulted a male by pointing an imitation gun at his head, threatened to shoot him and repeatedly pull the trigger.

On August 17 at Linburn Road, and elsewhere, he was unlawfully in possession of a machete.

Sentencing was deferred for reports until July 24.
