EMERGENCY services are at the scene after a vehicle smashed into a metal barrier in Rosyth this morning (Tuesday).
The front of a black Range Rover has been wrecked following the collision which took place on the B980, close to the town's railway station and the Tesco store on King's Road.
At least two police units and two fire appliances were called out to the incident, with paramedics also in attendance.
A broken lamppost was overhanging the road and causing disruption for traffic but this has now been removed by fire crews.
It is unknown at this stage whether anyone was injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7am on Tuesday, July 16, officers received a report of a single vehicle crash on Queensferry Road, Rosyth.
“Three people have been checked over at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
