FORMER Dunfermline High pupil Liam Forrest will be on song this weekend as he returns to the city for a special concert.
The talented tenor and performer will team up with his mentor Frances McCafferty for a free concert in Dunfermline Abbey.
Taking place on Saturday (July 20) at midday, music is promised to be "easy on the ear".
The concert is the first in a free Summer Concert Series on consecutive Saturdays at 12 noon in the Abbey which also feature organists Matthew Beetschen, Jean-Rene Andre, William Campbell and Gian Vito Tania.

Liam's incredible singing talents only came to light when, aged 14, he asked to audition for an in-school show and "blew everyone away".
Initially he was coached by school music staff and then by Frances McCafferty and received considerable financial assistance from his school, Provost Jim Leishman, the Mary Leishman Fund, the Carnegie Trust, several local businesses and a number of Rotarians.
The Dunfermline United Burns Club gave significant financial support and performance opportunities – together with the supply of his first full kilt and outfit for performances.
After completing a degree at Aberdeen University, Liam is currently doing a masters course at Manchester University. He recently received a scholarship for his third year from the Caird Trust.
