A FIFE walking initiative is providing free local health walking opportunities in the Kingdom.

Bums Off Seats hold the walks which are free and suitable for most people to participate in.

It is a Fife Council-funded project with support from Active Fife and Paths for All.

They host walks in Dunfermline, Inverkeithing, Aberdour, Dalgety Bay, and Rosyth.

All are led by a trained team of volunteer walk leaders.

They offer several different walks in the Dunfermline area.

On Mondays from now to September 30, the group will meet at 6.15pm at the outside entrance of the Dunfermline High School building.

On Thursdays to October 3, they meet at 10.30am at various locations including The Glen Gates, Townhill Park Car Park, Duloch School and Community Campus, Robertson Road Sports Pavilion, Car Park North Pier in Limekilns, Leys Park Road Car Park, Waterski Centre Car Park Townhill, and William Street Car Park.

They also meet on Thursdays at 6.15pm outside Duloch Leisure Centre.
