A DRIVER was clocked travelling at 120mph on a busy Fife road this week.
Fife's Road Policing Unit were carrying out speed checks on the A92 when they caught the motorist at 50mph over the 70 speed limit.
Posting on social media on Wednesday, officers reminded other drivers that "speeding can have devastating consequences", and advised them to "please slow down" and keep to the speed limits.
Two other drivers were stopped at 86mph on the same road, whilst another was registered at 83mph.
On X, the Road Policing Scotland account stated: "Fife Road Policing were carrying out speed checks on the A92 when they observed these vehicles travelling above the 70 mph speed limit.
"This included one vehicle at 120 mph!
"Speeding can have devastating consequences, please slow down."
