THE LEADER of a Dunfermline group and her family have donated to the Children's Ward at Victoria Hospital.

Becca Duncan and her family donated a range of items to the ward to help patients who are brought in on short notice.

Patients who are brought in with little notice often end up staying on the ward overnight, so the items donated by the Duncan family, which included deodorant and pyjamas, will do a lot of good.

Becca told NHS Fife: "I run a support group for mums called Mama Bear Care Hub and after being in the ward with my daughter back in May, I decided to walk 5k every day for four weeks and raised the money by asking for donations for doing it.

"I logged most days I did the walks by recording videos and taking pictures and putting them in my stories on Instagram so people could follow me doing it.

"I’m also a baby and toddler sleep coach and run Dreams for Littles, so for every sleep package that was booked during the time I was doing the walks, I donated 10 per cent of the cost."
