A WOMAN has cut off her hair in memory of her best friend and to raise money for a children’s charity.
Janet Fletcher has worked at ASDA for 20 years and had a charity chop on Monday this week to donate to the Little Princess Trust.
Currently working in ASDA St Leonard's in Dunfermline, Janet decided to have the cut in the foyer of the store with her colleagues surrounding her.
Her fundraiser was in memory of her friend Gordon McKibben, who went through cancer and sadly died earlier this year.

The Little Princess Trust is a charity which provides real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
“It went great!," she told the Press.
While the money raised is still being counted up, Janet hopes it will make it to around the £300 mark.
When asked if she was happy with the ongoing total, she commented: “Yeah, obviously every little helps!”
After her success she added that she may consider another fundraiser next year.
