AN INVERKEITHING magician is set to perform at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Cameron Young started learning magic as a hobby and has since gone on to become a successful magician.
He performs at weddings and has also appeared on TV shows including Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.
His upcoming show at the Fringe, Cameron Young: The Scottish Magician, will take place at the Gilded Balloon Patter House on Chambers Street.
This is not Cameron’s first time at the festival, but he said that: “This year seems to be the main event.
“It’s just a bit more me. The show is Scottish, magic, comedy, light-hearted. To be honest it’s designed to be more fun rather than to be very serious.”

He added that they have sold “quite a whack of tickets already” and are hoping for a good turnout.
Summing up his show, he said: “If people want to have a bit of fun in Edinburgh and support a bit of local, that’s what this show is about.”
He added that it is “designed for the Scottish person.”
After his show at the Fringe, it will be back to weddings for Cameron.
He commented: “Wedding magic has kind of taken over my life.
“I am nearly fully booked for next year for weddings and then my goal is to tour the show.”
This will either be on his own or with a collaborative partner.
Cameron will be performing at the Fringe from July 31 to August 26.
Tickets for The Scottish Magician can be purchased online.
