A PROPOSAL to use a flat as a short-term let property has been rejected by Fife Council.
Ltd Graham Ludar-Smith, of Carvetii Accommodation Ltd, applied for a Certificate of Lawfulness for the property on 25 Rannoch Road, Rosyth.
The application form states: “This property has been used as Serviced Accommodation since November 2019.

“Due to the introduction of the Short Term Let Licence process the review panel have asked us to apply for a Certificate of Lawfulness.”
It was refused by the local authority on the basis that: “The proposed change of use would constitute development as per Section 150 of The Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) and therefore requires an application for full planning permission.”
