THERE'S traffic disruption ahead with Lundin Road in Crossford set to close for a day.

It will be shut to traffic on Friday, August 9, to allow "BT installation works to be carried out in safety".

Fife Council's notice said that the whole road, from the junction with Main Street to the junction with the A907, will close from 8am to 6pm.

It said there would be a lengthy alternative route for traffic via the A907, Camps Road, Pitdinnie Road, A994 and A907.

Access for emergency services, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
