Fire Station Creative are set to host an exhibition of two award winning painters’ latest work.
The display in the Dunfermline arts hub on Carnegie Drive will feature works by Alf Jasinski (R.S.W.) and Les McConnell.
The former students at Edinburgh College of Art during the 1960s later became colleagues at Balwearie High School's Art Department in Kirkcaldy in the 1970s.
The exhibition, 'Memories, Times and Places', reflects on locations and moments significant to the artists.
Les said: "We’ve been friends for over 50 years and having attended each others exhibitions over the years, we realised that our work explores similar themes and that a joint exhibition would be a logical enterprise.
"We’re really looking forward to this."
Alf said: "I’m interested in recording landscapes and shorelines as well as other places where I’ve visited.
"I try to capture the essence, atmosphere and feelings generated inside of me by these places, through use of texture and colour.
"My work is executed in a variety of media including watercolour, gouache, acrylic mixed media and pastel."
Alf was the recipient of the Sir William Gillies Award (RSW) in 2018 while Les is known for his broad spectrum of exhibits, including displays at the Royal Scottish Academy and the Society of Scottish Artists.
The exhibition at Fire Station Creative opens tomorrow (Friday) and all artworks are available for purchase.
