THIS YEAR'S Inverkeithing Community Council Community Award was presented last week.
Fife Provost Jim Leishman and community council members and their guests all gathered in the Civic Centre to toast the Hat and Ribbon and present the award after the races last Friday.
The award was given to the Inverkeithing Gala Group for their dedication, hard work, and positive impact in organizing the gala since 2017.
Provost Leishman presented the Gala Group with their trophy and their name will be added to the Inverkeithing Community Award Shield which the community council hope will be held in the historic Town House when it re-opens.
Inverkeithing’s Town House is being restored to create a community hub that will be accessible to everyone.
