A NEW craft shop is preparing to open in Dunfermline's city centre.
Pure Craft is run by husband-and-wife team, Sharon and Kevin Ferguson, and will soon be welcoming customers to their Bruce Street space.
The couple have regularly attended craft fayres across Scotland for their small business and have appeared at Dunfermline City Artisan Market in recent times.
The premises on Bruce Street will be their first shop, and Sharon told the Press: “It’s exciting, but equally terrifying!
"For the past three years we have had our small business, which is Pure Craft Arts, my husband’s a student jeweller, he’s at Glenrothes College studying metalsmithing.

“I have always, always, wanted a small shop, but when this one came up, it was within our price range. We were really quite keen to move forward with that.”
Kevin makes jewellery using reclaimed copper or recycled silver, while Sharon makes stain glass, crochet, and pyrography.
It is important to the duo that their works are eco-friendly and quality handmade art and homewares.
When the shop opens, they will be supporting other artists in the area by offering a free display space for a period of three months within the shop.
After three months the work on display will change to that of a different artist.
The business is hoping to open the first week of September.
