THE road ahead is going to be smoother for motorists with plans to close part of Brankholm Brae for five days for resurfacing.

Fife Council said the work will take place daily, from 7.30am to 4pm, from Monday (August 12) to Friday August 16.

Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained.
