A 23-year-old man was over the limit when he drove through Rosyth and Dalgety Bay.
Dylan Christie, of Ashgrove Court, Methilhill admitted the offence at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
On 21st July in Admiralty Road, Rosyth and Regents Way, Dalgety Bay, he drove having consumed excess alcohol.
His reading was 29 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes.
Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports and imposed an interim driving ban. Christie will be sentenced on 28th August.
