REVELLERS at a daytime dance event in Dalgety Bay helped raise over £2,500 for charity.

The event, Tequila Twist's PM Groove, came 35 years after its organisers last put on a fundraising rave night at Captain Jack's in Inverkeithing.

An eclectic mix of music from across the universe was provided for those at the Sailing Club event.

One of the organisers, Chris Evans, said it had been a memorable event.

"The day itself was a blast, all the groovers got in to the spirit, with much dancing, singing, fun and mayhem," he said. "Well done everyone and thanks.

"We also want to thank the generous help from John Young Printing, Sean at Forth Events for lighting and Dalgety Bay Sailing Club."
