A 12-year-old boy was injured during an incident involving a Dunfermline woman.
Sarah Hollywood, 36, of Nith Street, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She admitted that on 28th September last year at her home she assaulted a boy then aged 12 years by striking him on the leg, seizing him by the clothing and closing a window whereby his finger was trapped, to his injury.
She also breached a bail condition not to contact her former partner when on 15th December at Aberdour Place she repeatedly contacted him.
Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane admonished Hollywood for the assault and fined her £160 for the bail breach.
