A Dunfermline man, involved in the reset of a stolen Rolex watch, failed to complete his unpaid work.

As a result, 38-year-old Mohammad Sabur, of Bruce Gardens, was back in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He previously admitted that on 15th March 2019 at Clune Road, Gowkhall, whilst acting with others stole a bag containing three Rolex watches, a laptop, a banking machine and tools.

In June 2022, Sabur was put on a community payback order with 270 hours of unpaid work for his part in the crime.

He had only done 252 hours of the sentence and admitted breaching the order.

Defence solicitor David Bell said his client had been involved in the reset of one of the watches.

Sheriff Elizabeth McFarlane revoked the order and fined Sabur £200 instead of the 18 hours of unpaid work outstanding.
