A ROSYTH takeaway has enjoyed the taste of success at a national awards ceremony.

Handi Masala scooped the Takeaway of the Year 2024 award for the Dunfermline area at the Asian Restaurant Awards Scotland.

The eatery was opened three years ago on Queensferry Road and was the dream come true-venture of chef duo Rajendra Singh Negi and Gajendra Singh Rawat.

Ajay Jha, speaking for the restaurant, said they were delighted with the award recognition.

"Our restaurant is more than simply a place to eat. it’s a dream come true—a dream of bringing individuals and families together through the magic of our flavourful dishes," he said.

"Food and cooking are everything to us. We believe the power of food connects people and brings families together, this was fundamental in our upbringing within our Indian families."

The Handi Masala team picked up their award at the awards ceremony which was held at the Scottish Parliament.
